The SCAT activated carbon exhaust filter M adsorbs solvent vapours and supports a safe, low-emission laboratory environment. The multi-layer filter filling combines specialised activated carbons for solvent vapours as well as acidic and alkaline components. This means that not only typical organic vapours from HPLC waste are adsorbed, but also small acid and alkali fractions from eluents and mobile phases. The high-performance activated carbon with an internal surface area of up to 1500 m²/g and a CTC value of >90 % stands for high adsorption capacity and long service life. With integrated splash guard, change indicator and up to 6 months service life. Replacement pack of 2 pcs.

Details
The SCAT Activated Carbon Exhaust Filter M is a replacement filter for the waste side of HPLC systems. It screws directly onto Safety Waste Caps on waste canisters via the GL14 thread and reliably captures escaping solvent vapors before they enter the laboratory air.
With a service life of around six months, the filter is particularly suitable for laboratories with medium solvent volumes. The integrated splash guard prevents liquid from entering the activated carbon, while the included replacement label allows easy documentation of the service period. Supplied as a convenient replacement pack with two filters, a spare is always at hand.
The Activated Carbon Exhaust Filter M provides reliable protection against solvent vapors on the waste side – simply screwed on and low-maintenance in everyday HPLC operation.
