The DURAN laboratory bottle with GLS80 thread and 5,000 ml volume is a storage bottle for the provision of HPLC eluents, solvents and laboratory chemicals. The GLS80 wide neck thread enables a wide neck opening that facilitates filling and direct removal. The bottle is made of DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3 with high temperature resistance and excellent chemical resistance. The clear glass design enables visual level control. With 5,000 ml volume, this laboratory bottle is suitable for laboratory workstations with higher solvent consumption. Longer refilling intervals can be planned accordingly. Typical areas of use are analytics, chemistry, pharmacy and research, wherever larger quantities of eluents must be provided continuously. The GLS80 thread enables combination with matching SCAT Safety Caps. When screwed on, the bottle and Safety Cap form a closed supply system that helps reduce exposure to solvent vapours. The bottle is supplied with cap and pouring ring and is thus ready for immediate use. DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3 supports a long service life in everyday laboratory use. When handling filled 5,000 ml bottles, the weight must be considered in advance. The round design and GLS80 thread remain compatible with the SCAT Safety Cap system throughout the entire service life. Cap and pouring ring facilitate daily handling and reduce preparation effort.
