The DURAN laboratory bottle with GLS80 thread and 2000 ml capacity is a storage bottle for HPLC eluents, solvents and laboratory chemicals in analytics, chemistry, pharma and research. The clear glass enables direct visual inspection of the fill level. The wide neck opening of the GLS80 facilitates filling and withdrawal. With 2000 ml, this laboratory bottle is designed for higher solvent consumption and longer refilling intervals. It sets itself apart from smaller 1000 ml formats when frequent interruptions to analytical operations are to be avoided. In the product family, the 2000 ml volume fills the segment between the 1000 ml standard format and large-volume 5000 ml supply bottles. The round design supports orderly arrangement on the laboratory shelf. Manufactured from DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3, the bottle offers high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and long service life. The cap and pouring ring are included in the scope of delivery. A matching Safety Cap is screwed onto the GLS80 thread. This creates a closed, low-emission supply system that helps reduce exposure. The supplied cap secures the bottle contents between refilling. The pouring ring facilitates clean withdrawal. The GLS80 thread determines compatibility with the Safety Cap to be used and must be checked in advance when setting up the system.
