Details

The DURAN laboratory bottle with GLS80 thread and 1000 ml in amber glass is a storage bottle for the supply of HPLC eluents, solvents and laboratory chemicals. It is used in analytics, chemistry, pharmaceutical and research laboratories where media are stored in defined quantities. At 1000 ml, the volume corresponds to the standard format for HPLC eluent supply. Compared with 500 ml formats, it reduces refill frequency at the workstation while remaining straightforward to handle. Within the GLS80 family, this version is distinguished from the clear glass variants by its amber glass. The bottle material is DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3 with high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and a long service life. The wide neck of the GLS80 thread facilitates both filling and removal and simplifies cleaning between two media. Cap and pouring ring are included in the scope of delivery. The GLS80 thread allows matching SCAT Safety Caps to be screwed on. Screwed-on Safety Caps form a closed, low-emission supply system for HPLC together with the bottle and help reduce exposure at the workstation. The round design of the 1000 ml amber glass bottle fits into standard laboratory footprints.
