The SCAT activated carbon exhaust filter XXL adsorbs solvent vapours and supports a safe, low-emission laboratory environment. The multi-layer filter filling combines specialised activated carbons for solvent vapours as well as acidic and alkaline components. This means that not only typical organic vapours from HPLC waste are adsorbed, but also small acid and alkali fractions from eluents and mobile phases. The high-performance activated carbon with an internal surface area of up to 1500 m²/g and a CTC value of >90 % stands for high adsorption capacity and long service life. With integrated splash guard, replacement label and up to 12 months service life.

The SCAT Activated Carbon Exhaust Filter XXL ensures the safe disposal of solvent waste directly at the drum. It is screwed onto the collection container using the 2" Mauser thread (BCS 70x6) and reliably captures escaping solvent vapors over an extended period.
With its XXL capacity, the filter achieves a service life of up to 12 months and is particularly suitable for laboratories with high solvent volumes or frequent drum filling. The integrated splash guard protects the activated carbon from liquid, while the filter also functions as a pressure-relief valve. This reliably maintains occupational exposure limits according to TRGS 900 and significantly reduces indoor air pollution.
The Activated Carbon Exhaust Filter XXL makes drum disposal safe, low-maintenance and economical – even with high throughput and long replacement intervals.
