The SCAT activated carbon exhaust filter XXL adsorbs solvent vapours and supports a safe, low-emission laboratory environment. The multi-layer filter filling combines specialised activated carbons for solvent vapours as well as acidic and alkaline components. This means that not only typical organic vapours from HPLC waste are adsorbed, but also small acid and alkali fractions from eluents and mobile phases. The high-performance activated carbon with an internal surface area of up to 1500 m²/g and a CTC value of >90 % stands for high adsorption capacity and long service life. With integrated splash guard, replacement label and up to 12 months service life.

The SCAT Activated Carbon Exhaust Filter XXL with dual thread (R2"/G2" + Tri-Sure BCS) is designed for flexible use on different drum types. It screws directly onto the drum and ensures safe pressure equalization as well as reliable adsorption of solvent vapors.
Thanks to its large activated carbon filling, the filter achieves a service life of up to 12 months and is particularly suitable for laboratories and industrial facilities with high solvent volumes. The integrated splash guard protects filter performance, while the filter also acts as a pressure-relief valve. This keeps occupational exposure limits within range and noticeably reduces indoor air pollution.
