The SCAT space-saving canister 5 litres with S50 thread is a disposal canister for collecting liquid laboratory waste in HPLC and chemical laboratories. The narrow design with dimensions 65 x 405 x 335 mm (W x H x D) is particularly suitable for workplaces with limited space and enables orderly, space-saving arrangement of multiple collection systems side by side. The volume of 5 litres is designed for compact HPLC workplaces with shorter change intervals, where limited space determines the sizing. The stability of the assembled system with cap, filter and tubing must be considered in advance.
Manufactured from PP as a shatter-resistant material for laboratory use. The chemical resistance to the specific waste mixture must be checked beforehand.
The integrated float enables visual level control during ongoing collection operation and facilitates plannable maintenance intervals.
The S50 thread accommodates the matching SCAT Safety Waste Cap, which must fit exactly to the canister thread. In combination with the Safety Waste Cap system, which can additionally include activated carbon exhaust filters, fittings and blind plugs, the canister supports low-emission waste disposal in the laboratory and contributes to reducing exposure.
