Details
The grounding strap for canister 108420 is a rigid accessory to support equipotential bonding when handling flammable liquids in the laboratory. It complements HPLC waste canisters and disposal containers in chemistry and analytical laboratories where flammable solvents are collected. The rigid design keeps the strap permanently in a fixed position on the container.
The rigid grounding strap is matched to canister 108420 and is used wherever the hazard assessment requires integration of the canister into the equipotential bonding system. Typical areas of use are solvent disposal in analytics, organic chemistry and research.
The grounding strap is mounted on canister 108420. The grounding cable is 1.5 m long and fitted with a clamp. The clamp enables connection to an earthed point in the laboratory.
The 1.5 m grounding cable covers typical distances between canister and earthing point at the laboratory workbench. As matched accessory for canister 108420, the rigid grounding strap supports equipotential bonding when handling flammable laboratory waste.
