The DURAN laboratory bottle in amber glass design with GL45 thread and 2000 ml is a storage bottle for the provision of HPLC eluents, solvents and laboratory chemicals. The GL45 thread enables direct combination with SCAT Safety Caps and integrates the bottle into a low-emission supply system. The amber glass design is the defining characteristic of this variant within the DURAN family. With 2000 ml, this laboratory bottle is suitable for higher solvent consumption and enables longer refilling intervals. It is used wherever larger quantities of eluents or solvents are provided: in HPLC analytics, preparative chemistry, pharmaceutical development and research. The round design corresponds to the standard format for laboratory bottles and fits into existing storage areas. Manufactured from DURAN borosilicate glass 3.3, the bottle offers high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance and a long service life. The delivery includes cap and pouring ring, so the bottle is ready for use immediately. Safety Caps screwed onto the GL45 thread close the supply system and help reduce exposure. The amber glass design complements the DURAN range as an independent variant alongside the clear glass versions. Cap and pouring ring facilitate filling and removal in everyday laboratory work. For routine maintenance, refilling the bottle and checking the screwed-on Safety Cap for secure fit are sufficient.
