The SCAT narrow-neck bottle with a 2.5 liter volume and GL45 thread is made of resistant HDPE and is designed for the safe storage, supply and handling of liquids in the laboratory. The robust plastic material is chemically resistant, break-resistant and particularly suitable for applications where glass bottles pose an increased risk of breakage. The GL45 thread allows use with suitable SCAT Safety Caps and other laboratory connectors. The UN-X approval supports the safe transport of suitable hazardous substances in accordance with applicable regulations.

The SCAT narrow-neck bottle with 2.5 litres and GL45 thread is a PE-HD storage bottle for the supply of HPLC eluents, solvents and laboratory chemicals. PE-HD makes the bottle break-resistant and chemically resistant – an advantage wherever glass breakage poses a risk or frequent handling occurs. At 2.5 litres, the bottle is suitable for higher solvent demand and supports longer refill intervals. Areas of application include HPLC analytics, pharmaceutical research and chemical laboratories where several eluents are supplied simultaneously. The square footprint of 127 × 127 mm allows several bottles to be arranged neatly and space-efficiently side by side. The GL45 thread allows matching SCAT Safety Caps to be screwed on. This creates a closed, low-emission solvent supply that helps reduce exposure at the workstation. Combined with a GreenLine Safety Cap, the narrow-neck bottle is suitable for PFAS analysis. The UN-X approval identifies the bottle as design-tested dangerous goods packaging. It does not mean that any laboratory substance may be transported in it – suitability for the specific contents as well as the applicable transport regulations and waste disposal contractor requirements must be verified in advance. The dimensions of 127 × 282 × 127 mm (W × H × D) give the 2.5-litre narrow-neck bottle a compact footprint.
