The SCAT narrow-neck bottle with a 2.5 liter volume and GL45 thread is made of robust HDPE and is suitable for the safe storage and supply of liquids in the laboratory. The break-resistant plastic material is chemically resistant and offers a lightweight, durable alternative to glass bottles. Thanks to the standardized GL45 thread, the laboratory bottle can be combined with suitable SCAT Safety Caps and other laboratory connectors. It is particularly suitable for daily laboratory use where safe handling and a reliable media supply are required.

Details

The SCAT narrow-neck bottle with 2.5 litres and GL45 thread is a storage bottle made of PE-HD for the storage and provision of HPLC eluents and laboratory solvents. The volume of 2.5 litres is suitable for laboratories with higher consumption and extends the refilling intervals compared to smaller storage containers. The bottle is used in HPLC analytics, chemistry, pharmaceutical research and related laboratory areas where reliable solvent supply is required. In combination with a GreenLine Safety Cap, it is suitable for PFAS analytics. The 2.5-litre format closes the gap between the standard litre and large-volume reservoir bottles and reduces refilling frequency with manageable space requirements. The GL45 thread allows the screwing on of matching SCAT Safety Caps and thus forms a low-emission supply system for HPLC operation. The square base of 122 × 122 mm enables an orderly, space-saving arrangement of multiple bottles side by side. The PE-HD material is chemical-resistant and break-proof. PE-HD is lighter than glass and facilitates daily handling in the laboratory. The narrow-neck bottle with GL45 thread can be integrated into existing SCAT supply systems and contributes to reducing exposure during media supply.
