The SCAT blind plug NS29/32 is used to safely close unused NS29/32 ports on ground neck bottles. In combination with the locknut, it supports a tight, stable and controlled seal in everyday laboratory use. This allows unused openings to be reliably closed and existing HPLC or laboratory setups to be safely adapted.

The SCAT blind plug NS29/32 closes unused NS29/32 ground joints on ground-neck bottles in HPLC and laboratory environments. It is used wherever a ground-neck bottle provides more openings than the current setup requires. A locknut is included in the scope of delivery. In HPLC laboratories and general laboratory environments, ground-neck bottles are used flexibly for solvent supply. Not all available NS29/32 connections are always occupied in a setup at the same time. The blind plug NS29/32 closes these free openings in a controlled manner and thus enables an orderly, adapted configuration of existing laboratory setups. It complements the SCAT system for ground-neck bottles. In laboratory operation, the blind plug is fitted to the NS29/32 ground joint and secured with the supplied locknut. The locknut prevents unintended loosening during operation. Blind plug and locknut together support a stable seal of unused connections and help keep the laboratory setup closed. If the laboratory setup changes and further NS29/32 connections are needed, the blind plug NS29/32 can be easily removed and replaced with an appropriate supply line. Free connections on ground-neck bottles thus remain safely closable at all times without changing the overall setup.
