Variant 1: With direct connection to the exhaust air system
Liquid laboratory waste can consist of a wide variety of substances and tends to produce toxic vapours. Users often do not know which mixtures are stored in their containers. The closed SymLine disposal system provides reliable protection against these toxic vapours. The Safety Waste Cap provides a safe connection to the waste containers. The freely rotatable core made of electrically conductive plastic ensures ergonomic and safe closure and is suitable for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres and ATEX-compliant! Exhaust air systems can be connected directly to our Safety Waste Cap to discharge pollutants via the laboratory exhaust air - the SymLine standard for safe collection of liquid laboratory waste.
Variant 2: With exhaust air filter
The SCAT exhaust air filters offer optimum protection against the toxic laboratory waste vapours generated when no laboratory exhaust air is available. Thanks to the bevelled core of the Safety Waste Cap, exhaust air filters can be connected without an offset adapter. Thanks to the composition of 3 layers of activated carbon, SCAT exhaust air filters are suitable for adsorbing solvent vapours and binding acids and alkalis.
