Details

The SCAT round canister with 4 litres and B83 thread is an HPLC waste container for the collection and disposal of liquid laboratory waste. It is used in HPLC and chemical laboratories where solvent mixtures are generated and collected in an organised manner. At 4 litres, this round canister covers small to medium waste volumes. Compared with the 2-litre container, the replacement interval is noticeably longer, while the footprint remains compact at 155 × 338 × 155 mm. The wide B83 thread facilitates filling and cleaning. The B83 thread accepts a matching SCAT Safety Waste Cap, which is screwed on directly. The canister is made of PE-HD; chemical resistance must be verified against the specific waste mixture. Together with an optional activated carbon exhaust filter, a closed system is created that reduces emissions directly at the container and helps decrease exposure in the laboratory. The 4-litre round canister suits workstations where several waste streams are collected separately. The round design supports complete emptying. Stability and line routing should be considered once cap and waste lines are fitted.
