Details

The SCAT round canister with 25 litres and S65 thread is an HPLC waste container for the collection and disposal of liquid laboratory waste. It is used in HPLC and chemical laboratories where solvent mixtures are generated and collected in an organised manner. At 25 litres, this round canister is aimed at laboratories with high solvent volumes or several HPLC systems operated in parallel. The large collection volume significantly extends replacement intervals and suits central waste collection. The dimensions are 278 × 580 × 278 mm. The S65 thread accepts a matching SCAT Safety Waste Cap, which is screwed on directly. The canister is made of PE-HD; chemical resistance must be verified against the specific waste mixture. Together with an optional activated carbon exhaust filter, a closed system is created that reduces emissions directly at the container and helps decrease exposure in the laboratory. With the 25-litre round canister, weight when full, transport route and handling during container replacement should be planned in advance. This version is not electrostatic conductive; whether a conductive variant is required for flammable solvents is determined by the hazard assessment.
