Details

The SCAT canister with 20 litres and S60/61 thread is an HPLC waste container for solvent disposal in chemistry and analytical laboratories. The integrated float enables level monitoring directly on the container. Dimensions are 260 × 455 × 285 mm (W × H × D). At 20 litres this disposal canister is aimed at laboratories with higher waste volumes, for example in HPLC analytics, pharmaceutical research or industrial quality control. Compared with compact 5- or 10-litre containers, change intervals are extended. Weight and transport distance should be planned when changing the container. The S60/61 thread is designed for SCAT Safety Waste Caps in this format. Combined with an activated carbon exhaust filter, the system helps reduce emissions directly at the container. The canister is made of PE-HD; resistance must be checked against the specific waste mixture. When changing containers, the float provides a basis for plannable change intervals. The filled canister is replaced once capacity is reached. The design supports orderly arrangement when several disposal containers need to stand side by side.
