Details
The SCAT canister with 10 litres and S50 thread is an HPLC waste container for solvent disposal and the collection of liquid laboratory waste. The design in PE-HD electrostatic conductive is aimed at laboratories that need to collect flammable liquids whilst wishing to support equipotential bonding on the container. The S50 thread enables direct connection of a matching Safety Waste Cap.
The 10-litre volume positions this canister in the standard laboratory: the capacity covers medium waste volumes and allows plannable change intervals without the handling effort of large-volume containers. It is suitable at the HPLC workstation, in the analytical laboratory and wherever multiple waste streams are collected separately.
The integrated viewing strip enables quick level control without disassembly. Together with a Safety Waste Cap and an activated carbon exhaust filter, a closed disposal system is created that reduces emissions directly at the container. The PE-HD-EL design supports equipotential bonding; the necessity results from the operational hazard assessment.
The canister is equipped with UN-X approval. For the transport of the specific waste mixture, the waste disposal contractor's requirements must be checked separately. Canisters are marked with the production date (month/year); SCAT supplies them as a rule within six months of the production date. The electrostatic conductive PE-HD design is available in this combination with S50 thread and viewing strip.
